Felicia James is the President and owner of Primestar Construction, a Women Owned, SBA 8 (a) and HUBZone certified full service construction firm.  As a proud graduate of Prairie View A& M University, she obtained a Baccalaureate Degree and several Graduate degrees. 

Felicia is also a member of the United States Women Chamber of Commerce and USWCC’s liaison to the U.S. Department of the Air Force and most recently Primestar has been designated to represent the USWCC and Felicia has been appointed as the United States Women’s Chamber of Commerce Regional Director for the Dallas – Fort Worth – Arlington Region.

Felicia has served the Small Business community by providing testimony to the Congressional Small Business Committee on behalf of women in small businesses and how various legislation affects our business climate and bottom line.  

Having over 15 years of construction related experience and a combined executive staff of over 40 years construction trade experience helps to afford an opportunity for Primestar to solidify a firm footing on the Federal Contracting sector at large.

While several opportunities have risen to the forefront, her most recent Federal awards help confirm that our collective voices are making a difference. Primestar has just recently been awarded a Federal MATOC in Arkansas, where she is the only Texas Women Owned Firm within this award. Additionally, Primestar has also been awarded GSA MATOC for West Texas, Fort Worth, and Dallas.

Having worked diligently to progress the forward movement of equality for all minorities, it is a personal commitment on behalf of her firm and herself to continue to speak on behalf of Women Owned Business and Small Businesses at large.
