Shook Construction Co. is bidding as a Prime Contractor on an upcoming project in Athens, OH. I am writing to ask for your assistance in our efforts to encourage bidder participation of certified DBE, MBE, WBE & SBE (including those in rural areas) suppliers and subcontractors for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements – City of Athens, OH which bids on 1/22/13 at 10:00 am. (We are requesting quotes along with the attached DBE Form 1A by 3 pm on January 21 from our diversity subcontractors.) I am hoping that you may be able to offer me some insight regarding specific suppliers and subcontractors who might be capable and interested in submitting a bid for a portion of the work.
