United Materials - 90th Anniversary Barbeque

    United Materials - located in Denver, Colorado - celebrated our 90th Anniversary on Saturday, September 28th with a barbeque from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.

    United Materials is the oldest roofing company in the state of Colorado.  We are very proud of this heritage.

    Beth Gloss, the owner of United, is very proud to continue the tradition as started by Ernst Kugler in 1923.    Mr. Kugler established the company as a builders supply company and gradually morphed through the years into the roofing contracting company United Materials.  His son, Bill Kugler, took over the reins back in 1970 as the President of United Materials.

    Beth Gloss has been a Project Manager  in the roofing industry since 1976.  She has worked as a project manager for United Materials starting in 1990 and became the Vice President of United in 1996 and President in 1998.  She became the Managing Member in January 2004.
